Boyer Farm
Carol Boyer, (204) 344-5966,
northoak@mts.net
Carol says: "We are not certified organic. However, we are practising organic farming. All the seeds are certified organic. The land we are using has not been cultivated for anything in over 20 years. No herbicides or pesticides have been applied. As we are in the beginning stages of establishing a market garden, we are going to wait and see how we do before deciding whether to go ahead with the certification process. Because of new rulings coming into effect regarding use of the word "organic" in describing one's garden, I guess the best description for our products would be "naturally grown"."
Vegetables: Salad greens (arugula, green wave mustard, tatsoi, golden purslane, claytonia, mizuna, broadleaf cress); Vegetables (snow peas, radishes, yellow wax beans, green beans, carrots, swiss chard, beets, broccoli, leeks, red onions, cherry tomatoes, roma tomatoes, beefsteak tomatoes, ground cherries, edamame), Squash (zucchini, spaghetti squash, winter squash, buttercup squash, sugar pumpkin).
"Our farm address is Lane No. 72083 on Provincial Road 321. From Stony Mountain at No. 7 Highway, go West on Provincial Road 321 for 3 miles. At Road 7E, go South on PR 321 about 1/2 mile. We are the second lane on the east side of the road."
"It is from this location that we would like to sell our produce. Perhaps people would enjoy some time relaxing in the country. I am willing to offer different options... maybe someone would like to pick their own vegetables, or...maybe a person would like to call ahead and I would pick it fresh for them to pick up."

loganfarms2005@hotmail.com. They write:
We are certified organic farmers from SW Manitoba. We would love to make available our food we lovingly grow. We raise organic beef, lamb, goat, pasture raised Berkshire pork, and a market garden with seasonal produce. We attend a farmers market in Brandon once a week, offering veggies, etc. We also like to sell from the farm gate or deliver if appropriate.
